New Multi-Tenant PIAF Purple w/ ALL latest Gtalk fixes! 12/10/2010

Updated FreePBX module

So after a bit of trial and error, I have stumbled across an updated freepbx module for 2.9. This is based off of Marcus Brown's GoogleVoice module. It seems that someone at FreePBX updated the module 2 days ago. I added the updated files to the tgz and all is working so far.

If you have already used the PIAF script to setup your google voice account, this module overwrites the existing jabber.conf and gtalk.conf files, so remember to plug in your existing account first!!!

The tricky bit to remember is to add all of your accounts, THEN reload. doing so will only add the one account and remove the others from the conf files.

New file can be downloaded here: freepbx.org/trac/browser/contributed_modules/release/googlevoice-0.1.1.tgz?format=raw

Rather than go to an unknown site to download the module's .tgz file, I'd start here:

freepbx.org/trac/browser/contributed_modules/release

Find the latest version of the Google Voice module (it's showing 0.1.1 today), click on the link, then on the page that comes up, at the bottom center of the page you should see a link that says:

Download in other formats:
Original Format

Click on the words "Original Format" and it should download the module file.

I'm not saying there is (or isn't) anything wrong with the first link in the previous post, but I just think it's a little safer to go right to the source…

Why did an old TV show theme suddenly pop into my head?

Agreed..

And that 'someone' who updated the module was Me (thank you very much :biggrin5:)
