New phone old ID

I am using Device and user mode, I have an Aastra 57i. I am trying to setup a phone thats been on the shelf for a few months, Orginally this phone was setup then put away back in the box, I now setup a new user and new device for this phone. The phone works, the caller ID shows up correctly when calling other phones, however the display on the phone it self is showing the old user name.

I deleted the MAC.cfg from the cache folder...reset the phone to factory defaults, could someone tell me where else it may be pulling the name from?

I don't have the 57i but if it is anything like the 9133i, you will need to access the menu on the phone itself and reset to factory defaults and then let it load your config file from the server. Or just as easily, just change the name in the phone setup screen.

Figured it out, had to delete the mac.cfg from the t*f*t*p directory
