I have had the pbx box, latest purple build with incrediblepbx loaded as well, connected to a Netgear router that was spotty at best, actually, it was pretty horrible... it ran through a Netgear hub to get to my box but the box did work...

Today I got fed up and plugged in a Belkin N+ router that I had and the network as a whole is running much better. The connection to the box runs from the N+ through a Netgear hub. I had to change my pbx box to .2.x number and that worked fine. My status shows that the box is connected to the lan and to the internet. I can access the control panel through the browser at the .2.x number as well.

Problem is, I cannot see the pbx box in my router. Refresh all you want, just not there. Also, when I change x-lite and update my linksys pap ip address they cannot connect.

Thoughts?

thanks!

Netgear switches don't play nice in some circumstances. Try something else.

Check for settings in the Permit/Deny fields in each extension's config. My guess is that Fail2Ban is blocking them OR Asterisk won't let them in b/c those extensions are set to a specific IP range that doesn't include 192.168.2.x.

I'm guessing by saying "I cannot see the pbx box in my router" that you can't see it in the DHCP table. I have no idea why you would not have your PIAF on a Static IP, so it should not show up in your router's DHCP table.
