Nice few days in Charleston

Hi All

Thanks to all of you I met at the freepbx training seminar this week. It was interesting listening to your suggestions and I appreciate the thanks you passed on to me. Ward, Joe and myself had several long discussions and based on them, along with some suggestions from you all, I have a few new projects to work on which will be a valuable addtion to our bag of tricks.

I hope to have some more points to post soon with some hints about it all. Yawn long drive back to Fla today so off to bed early.

Thanks for all the great help for my tons of questions!! It was great to finally meet you guys. I haven't made it home yet, nor download my brain from the training, but I am excited to get to work on everything. I look forward to talking with you all more in the future...

Thanks to everyone at the Charleston Training event

I have meant to post about the FreePBX training in Charleston, but I am just now catching up with my work back home.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the content and delivery of all the topics. Philippe and the team did a great job at sticking to what had been outlined before the training. Each day started off promptly, the breaks were short, and even lunch time was only 30 minutes for most of us, since the FreePBX team also scheduled optional demonstrations for those of us that were interested.
Each night, most of us met up for Happy Hour, then on to Dinner. Jim from Rhino and Jared from Digium, as well as other vendors also joined us for the balance of the nights. It was both informative and enjoyable.
Getting to meet and know Ward, Philippe, Tom King and Joe Roper, as well as all the attendees was well worth the trip itself. Being around ‘like-minded’ people discussing challenges and successes was probable the best part of the trip for me.
I still need to review all the material again, since it was so in-depth. Thanks to everyone – including the attendees - for making this an excellent event for me to learn and participate in.
