Voice Mail still not working, and just checking in to see if you saw anything odd in my log file.

Thanks

Following all the instructions, everything seemed to work correctly... the phone provisions with the asterisk server, even updated the firmware automatically. But for some reason ia m getting a "No Service" displayed on the phone, and when it says "ERROR[23080] utils.c: fwrite() returned error: Broken pipe" in the log file.

I googled the problem and it has shown up in the past. Tried all of their remedies, and I can get the light to go off by disabling the registrar port, but the phone I still can't make any calls or receive any calls. Did you have any problems setting up yours?

Finally figured it out after installing the Aastra 6739i phone and seeing that voicemail was working. Realized it must have something to do with the SPA962 phone and not freePBX. Enabled UDP and made NAT Mapping Enable = false + NAT Keep Alive Enable set to false. Solved my problem

Check voicemail.conf and see if pollmailboxes= is set to yes or no.

If it's set to no, change it to yes.

"If mailboxes are changed anywhere outside of app_voice
then this option must be enabled for MWI to work. This
enables polling mailboxes for changes. Normally, it will
expect that changes are only made when someone called in
to one of the voicemail applications."
- found in voicemail.conf

Thanks was trying to get my voicemail to work on a brand new install of PBIAF Purple with GV. I would hit #, then 1, it would say it saved successfully then I'd hear a fainter voice say an error had occured. Using WinSCP I could see the, TXT and Wav/WAV files created, but then after the error message they were gone and nothing was in the INBOX, I added pollmailboxes=yes to the vm_general.inc file and did an amportal restart via WinSCP console and everything worked.

Thanks. :biggrin5:
