Now that Cepstral is installed

Does anyone know if it will allow outside callers to say the name of the person they wish to call instead of having the outside caller dial their extension?

EX:
Outside caller calls, the main ivr (created with cepstral) states something like "please say the name of the person you wish to speak to"

Outside caller says the name, then cepstral confirms it and then connects it.

Possible?

Cepstral is for text to speech conversion, not voice recognition. If you are looking for voice recognition, you should really look at Lumenvox.

There can be a bit of a learning curve to Lumenvox working, but here is a thread that talks about "Magic Button" which may be of interest to you.

I was poking around that thread and similar ones on the trixbox site. It seems there's some holdup surrounding how to license it.

Also people reference MB as if it was one in (or is it one and) the same as Lumenvox. Seems that MB licenses LV technology to work their own app.
