i was wondering if somehow from a transfer, if you can record a call still or if the system has completly passed the call off.

say you call and then you are not at your desk, so follow me kicks in and goes to the cellphone and you pick up. can you still do the *1 option to record?

same would apply if you are calling in and using DISA?

or if you had the PiAF box call you and used disa that way or called a local extentsion.

Wouldn't that be snooping ?
Why would I accept transfers from you if you could record what I say ?
I doubt it's easy to setup this Call Snooping after Transfer !

As far as it being snooping, if the call cam in through the business phone system and then transfered to employee's cell wuldn't that still make it a business call and be ok for the business to record it ?

Not really, in the above scenario, Secretary A can record a call she sent to Secretary B.

Secretary's should be able to record each other's calls.

drmurdoch;

good point....however it is something that i am very curious about. my IVR just basically transfers to peoples cell anyhow. which is my point in asking if i would still be able to record it to the PiAF box

Hi

In theory, yes you can record from your cellphone on a transferred call.

As for snooping, it's your equipment, your lines, your employees, and as such you can do anything you want to do - within limits!
