QUESTION OpenVox Voicemail Notification

I have a OpenVox A400P with 1 FXO and 1FXS module.

Isn't the voice mail notification that most phones look for a broken dial tone? I was gone on vac for 2 weeks and came back to work with 55 voice mails and the phone not telling the employees there were any voice-mails.

Is there something in the PIAF config I have to enable? I thought years ago when I used one of those cheap wildcard cones that the voice mail notification was automatic...

ok, i can see the phone picking up the line to check for voicemail, but I am not sure what to set it up for a broken dialtone....

ideas?
