Very peculiar issue here.

System is Orgasmatron 2. PRI on a Sangoma A101D. Two analog fax machines on an A200.

The PRI channels are 1-24 (though we only use 1-12). The faxes are 27 and 28.

Everything has been working very well for the last six months.

We had an outgoing fax that instead of going out, went to the other fax machine.
Code:
2009-04-08 10:27:52 509535XXXX 509535XXXX 1651463XXXX from-internal Zap/27-1 Zap/28-1 Dial ZAP/g0/16514637379|300|TW 98 77 ANSWERED 3
Trying the call again, it went through fine.

Anyone ever see anything like this?

It is like the PBX chose the wrong channel to send out on.

I have had this happen. I have a fax machine on an FXO port and Hylafax on an IAX extension. When sending out for some strange reason NVFax detect kicked in and sent the fax to the Hylafax extension.

I have had the same thing happen with a Digium TDM400 series card. Fax 1 would be answered by Fax 2. I only solved it by turning off fax detect. I have never had the problem when sending with Hylafax.

I checked the logs and there were plenty of ZAP channels to cover it. It for some reason sent it out on channel 28 instead of 1-12.

I don't have fax detect turned on as I route it by the incoming DID.

Strange indeed.
