Hi,

Running a new install of Purple. Using an Astribank FXO.
Astribank is setup and running.

I started this thread since this isn't so much related to the Astribank thread I started earlier.

Aastra 9143i's have bad local echo. Tried many different settings related to tx gain in aastra.cfg to no avail. Aastra's are runnin latest firmware. 3.2.2.56

I setup an old Snom 220 and it worked fine.

Trying to install Oslec, but I can't get the module loaded.

root@160pbx:~ $ locate oslec
/usr/src/dahdi/linux/drivers/dahdi/dahdi_echocan_oslec.c
root@160pbx:~ $ modprobe dahdi_echocan_oslec
FATAL: Module dahdi_echocan_oslec not found.

For Oslec, I followed this thread.

http://pbxinaflash.com/community/threads/atribank-echo.11071/?t=11071

Xorcom makes an add-on echo module XR1024 I may get that if I can't get Oslec to work. The company I work for really doesn't have the budget to get different phones.

Thanks,
Scott

There are a few complaints here about audio quality when you combine aastra endpoints and analog trunks. My issues were solved in this thread.

I saw that thread. I've been tweeking it ugh...

Since the Snom works, Seems that the Xorcom hardware echo module add on wouldn't work for the Aastra's since this seems phone related?
