When I try to call out with my PBXIAF/Orgasmatron V - GV setup, I get the message "Please wait while I connect your call", and then it plays some music, until the call is connected.
Is it possible to take that whole thing out?
Or does it need to do that, to catch the GV callback?
And is it possible to change the music, or the message?
Thanks!

Can you give me some info on how I can change the message, and music?
Or maybe just play no music?
Thanks!

It's possible to do all the things you've asked... if you know what you're doing. If the question is whether we're willing to invest a number of hours making what are essentially cosmetic changes or documenting how you can do it, the answers become... no, no, no, and no. That's what consultants are for. We'd be happy to give you some recommendations if you have an interest in pursuing it.

Isn't there some easy way to change the music, like edit the music file name in a file, or replace the current music file with my own file?

The music only plays for a couple of seconds, but sure, it can be changed or turned off. It's the standard music on hold delivered with every Asterisk system. There's loads of music on hold info in this forum, at voip-info.org, in virtually all of the documentation for PBX in a Flash, in all of the Asterisk books, on the FreePBX web site, and elsewhere. Google is your friend.

I would have a follow up question, is it possible to play a music on hold and let the user exit from it by pressing a key?

The MusicOnHold application is easy to use in a dialplan, but how to use it in an IVR kind of setup.

Let say I have two music on hold (or streaming in my case), I want the user to be able to choose which music to listen to (so far simple IVR choice), but when the user is listening to the music I want him to be able to exit that music on hold to go back to a menu without hanging up.

Would a waitexten work in that setup?
