I have have been running PIAF for a while, and have installed the nvfax as described on Nerd Vittles. All works good on incoming as far as detecting fax, conversion and emailing.
I set up a system for a friends company and they love the system, and I have theirs setup to go to a fax extension both systems use the TDM410 cards.
My problem is outbound faxing, when we use the fax machine, the PIAF sees the fax and intercepts it. If we use a pause after the dialing so the fax machine does not send any tones until nvfax detect timeout, it will ring through to the actual receiving fax machine and all is good.
I have checked the faxdetect and it is set to inbound, so why is it still checking outbound. Is it a problem in the fax code actually not paying attention to that setting?
