Pass Caller ID to cell phone through Follow Me

Hello. I am using a PBX in a Flash with les.net sip trunks, several les.net inbound DID's and 2 analog lines on the system. We are having a few caller ID problems.

1. We want the system to pass on the caller ID of the inbound caller to our cell phones when the calls are sent through the follow me feature to our cell phones. Currently follow me is working, it is just passing our number thru the caller ID instead of the callers CID. Please help.

2. We want to set the transmitted caller ID on a per phone or station basis. Right now, no matter what phone you call from, it just shows the same caller id. Is this a les.net issue?

I recall seeing something a couple years ago about removing the "from-user" line in the outbound area of the trunk.

Also generally speaking many providers don't allow you to spoof the caller id.

It is an issue with les.net

Not all providers allow you to set your outbound callerid.

Two providers that I know allow it are vitelity.net and voip.ms I use both for outbound calls for that very reason. voip.ms outbound rates are .0125 pm for U.S. domestic. About as cheap a rate as I have found.

I've not had any quality issues with either carrier.
