We are seeking a PBX Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for numerous business critical systems and networks. The position demands a high level of accountability and technical competency.

Responsibilities:
§ To integrate and develop Asterisk based system with a web-based console for the dialer application.
§ Installing and troubleshooting Asterisk PBX.
§ Linux application support for mission critical services including Asterisk, Apache, and numerous other common Linux network services
§ Administration, Backup/Restore, and regular maintenance of all mission critical systems
§ This position comes some on-call responsibility to be shared with the rest of the Systems Administration team
Required Skills and Experience:
§ Experience with Asterisk VOIP phone system required (open source PBX)
§ Experience of Linux system administration experience desired, but candidates of all levels will be considered
§ Asterisk 1.2/1.4 experience required
§ Understanding of writing IVRs
§ Familiarity with Linux command line access, including file modification
§ Basic understanding of SQL, including writing queries
§ Expert Network Switch/Router administration
§ Basic understanding of telco architecture (POTS versus T1 versus DS3)
§ Ability to remain calm and effective in sometimes stressful situations
§ The desire and commitment to work effectively in a team environment
§ Must be able to communicate effectively
Preferred Skills and Experience (skills above plus):
§ PHP Experience
§ BASH Experience
§ FreeSwitch exposure/experience
§ Apache experience
§ General systems/networking experience
§ Dialer experience
