BUG PIAF 3.6.5 Detect bug / VirtualBoxVM-PIAF 3.0.6.5 hang issue / Hyper-V 2012R2 issue

Sorry for the compound message, however, there is a very short story here with only one request for help really -- wasn't sure how to explain it best! Nonetheless ...

ISSUE #1: Have run the VirtualBox premade VM's with the 2.0.6.5 running bulletproof but the 3.0.6.5 consistently across multiple installs slowing audio/choppy and requiring not a VirtualBox restart but a Windows host restart to fix?! Not sure if 3.0.6.5 is better/newer than the 2.0.6.5 VM so confusion has led us to wanting a Hyper-V 2012 R2 (we have three server hosts for it) using the latest 3.6.5 hand build at Sourceforge.

ISSUE #2: Followed NerdVittles step-by-step for the latest 3.6.5 from Sourceforge, address the VGA=791 issue in Hyper-V, and yet the final reboot has Asterisk & Fail2Ban offline.

Related to that outcome I found in the /var/log/install-green.log a few items & also generally a couple things interestingly seem to happen I still can't figure out several days & several fresh (failed) installs later.​

1) The MySqlAdmin steps seem to try to access with the wrong machine name (I put PBX.domain.com and it is saying the script is trying PBX.local) and yet later on uses the correct info successfully (not sure if it's a real error or debug output typo from the script)?​

2) FATAL: Freepbx engine not found (or some such thing in there)​

3) [FATAL] Unable to connect to Asterisk Manager from /var/lib/asterisk/bin/retrieve_conf (something about a utility.functions.php not being there)​

ISSUE #3: In the Hyper-V scenario in #2 we also encounter this strangeness --- When the step occurs advising you are about to install an *older* version (even though we did the wget to get the latest!), if you override to use the older version it actually installs 2.0.6.6 (newer!) - saying no of course quits and there is only 3.6.5 and older distro's of course. Thoughts anyone?
