piaf and aastra xml 2.3

What is the safest most stable veriosn of piaf to use with aastra XML 2.3 in a production system?

Does anyone know of any issues that would kill using the latest piaf
version in a test environment?

As soon as I get the phones, I guess I'll try by jumping in the fun using extension mode.

I am using 2.3 with PIAF 1.7 Silver and Incredible PBX and have had 0 problems.

Other can chime in as well.
