PiAF and Asterisk Real Time

Still in my quest for HA and load balancing ....
Thinking of trying Asterisk real time (dynamic) with PiAF ... Anyone done that ? Is this going to break something ?
I know, I might be wandering out of the boundaries, but sometimes it is worth the try ....

res_odbc won't install

Decided to give Asterisk Realtime a try, following TFOT
2ed instructions ...
Does anyone know why the res_odbc module won't install ?
Installed the unix-ODBC packages (devel too), recompiled asterisk, but res_odbc.so won't show up ....

res_odbc installed !!!

Ran update source, res_odbc.so is installed .... Next step

can u share something about your efforts? I'd try to have ARA under my FreePBX/PIAF cover, but extconfig.conf is missing...
