PIAF and Incredible PBX, do I understand it?

Ive been experimenting with Asterix, Free PBX, Trixbox, Elastix, and PIAF and the Incredible PBX. I think I understand the overview. Here goes:
Asterisk - Free open source telephony platform by Digium.
FreePBX - The web-based gui for Asterisk, (and more?)
Trixbox CE, Elastix etc - Linux distros that bundle Asterisk,FreePBX and some other goodies (or baddies)
PIAF - Linux distro with Asterisk,FreePBX, but more concern for security and updates, and a better community following.
Incredible PBX - bunch of cool addons listed on this page, that I am not sure if I should install.

Do I understand the general picture?

It seems after installing Incredible PBX that its littered with lots of trunks, routes, extensions, custom destinations and settings that got added. Now here's the question about the Incredible PBX addon... If I *dont* want to use GVoice then was it unnecessary to install IncPBX and confuse a newbie like me when I want to troubleshoot something? I am just afraid I will break some of the clever but delicate settings added by IncPBX.

Pretty good summary. Not sure I would have used the word "litter." Setting up trunks, extensions, inbound and outbound routes, IVRs, ring groups, conferencing, and custom dialplans can be a daunting task if you're just getting started. Incredible PBX lets us share about six years of Asterisk experience and app building plus 30+ years of computer, networking, programming, and security experience with those who are just getting started and want a feature-rich but secure environment in which to experiment. If you break something, it's easy enough to restore from an Incredible Backup while learning what works and what doesn't.

Sorry, instead of 'litter' I meant to say 'clever settings'
So, you refer to the Incredible Backup. Q: Is that the one that can image the whole PIAF box to amazon?
The ability to restore from a backup makes me feel like its worth having all the addons of IncPBX whih I would probably appreciate more over time
