Hello,

I'm enjoying using Piaf for a tiny medical secretary. My question is if you advice a web sharing calendar (for medical appointments) that may interfaces with Piaf with CTI features ?

Or what web sharing calendar softwares are the best around you ? do you know a good and simple open-source php*mysql based ??

Thank you for sharing

Hi,

Thanks, but it doesn't semm to suit my needs. I need extended features (15 min slots, email confirmation and a lot of customizations ...).

Thank you,

Did you happen to review the features or test drive the demo of the hitAppoint referenced in the link?

15 minute blocks are definitely a setting and e-mail confirmation & reminders are available...

BTW, Ward if you happen to come across this thread. Does the offer still stand? If it does, is it the latest version and does it include the pieces need to integrate it into Joomla?

Google has added an appointments slots option to calendars http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/introducing-appointment-slots-in-google.htmland there is a way to integrate Google calendars with PIAFhttp://nerdvittles.com/?p=745... however it appears that to add appointments to your google calendar the other users must have a google account unlike hitappoint that uses a local database (and can also be synced to a Google Calendar.)

Hi,
I like Google calendar with 15 min slots (I m a Google apps user & administrator). The only problem with GCalendar is the small displaying area and it's not easy way to register appointments.

Any new idea ??

If anyone wanted to create a PBX of the future for Medical use, I'd love to unload a ton of ideas I have from working in the trenches.

COVID-19 has taught Medicine many lessons. One of them is, HOW TERRIBLE MD to patient communication really is. There are defined parameters of this relationship. Texting your doctor is not the same as texting a friend.

The future involves smartphones and an App. Leaving both voice and text information for each other - WITHIN the limits of what the providers is comfortable with (as is legal) is key. But the future needs to open up communication - for EVERYONE's benefit.

I should have partnered with some young keener back in 2011. At least solving the Telephone communication part of things. I would not have been able to foresee the transformative change of the smartphone ... but I would have been ready for it when it came years later.

I'm looking to partner with EMR / EHR companies that are looking to change the game as well. The future of patient care involves much more communication. Both data coming from the patient and efficient data coming for the doctor.

DrMurdoch took a 9 year break from here, and is now replying to all of his/her old posts.
