I have made several attempts to install PIAF on a cloudserver hosted with rackspace. I believe they use Xen. I have installed PIAF on home server with xen with no issues. But having a bit of trouble on a CentOS 5.3 in the cloud.

Has anyone done this?

Is there a way to disect the net install script piafdl?

Thanks,

KK

Any luck with this? I am not sure how to go about a manual install of PIAF and obviously I cannot boot an ISO to install it normally at rackspace. I also tried throwing Proxmox on but Rackspace apparently won't let me change the kernel on my VM either...

Is there a cloud provider that can give me the ability to boot a custom ISO for loading up my VM?

We have a provider that is interested in getting this going. Drop me a note and I'll put you in touch with them. I just haven't had the time to work on it.

Look at the appropriate .ks file on the piaf install cd. It should give you enough info to manually install or maybe do a net install of CentOS. I created a boot server at home and use it to serve up different install cd's. I was able to use the ksalt.ks file to automate the installation.
