What speed processor will be used in the PiaF Mini Server? Any idea on how many extensions it will typically be able to handle before slowing down too much?

On the new <mini server> (latest build) it will have the dual core atom chip with a gig of ram and a sata HD. This is not the VPN in a Flash system as that will be something completely different 8^) Sorry no peeking.

We are going to use an M300 case and it will have a single PCI slot which you can populate with the shorter pots cards. (won't take an a1200 or tdm 2400!) We are just working out some QA issues with the manufacturer at the moment. I am predicting RSN (real soon now)

I use this box in several of my commercial clients who run a mix of pots and voip. Generally they have 4 pots and at least 2 voip trunks. So far under full load the processor has only gone up to 23% give or take. They are mostly MD's offices which have a heavy phone pattern.

All of my commercial clients have also been version frozen on Ast 1.4 and zaptel. The mini server will come with the last reliable version of Asterisk 1.4 and Zaptel.
