(I'm reposting this in the Help area 'cause I realized I originally put it in the Developer thread.)

Howdy, first pogoplug post.

I've been using an Atcom IP02 at home for 4-5 years. It works okay, the FXS interface has never worked reliably, so I ended up using a Linksys PAP2T to connect my wireless phone. The big issue is there is no upgrade path, plus the hardware is aging.

I picked up a couple pogoplugs from Adorama, converted both to Debian boot with default boot capability retained. Followed the Incredible PBX install tutorial, now have a functioning pogoplug. I also used the $10 couple coupon to get a DigitalOcean droplet and installed Incredible PBX. I wanted to use the backup method described in the tutorial but before I proceed I have a question.

The pogoplug is running "Incredible PBX 11.12.0 for PogoPlug 4" and the droplet has this "Incredible PBX 11.13.1 for Ubuntu 14". Are these versions similar enough so I can use the backup method method to use the droplet to configure my pogoplug? Or should I run the script referenced here http://pbxinaflash.com/community/in...sk-11-upgrade-script.12560/page-3#post-101911 to match the two systems?

thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, but I hope this helps. After Ward tweaked up the software, it became easy enough to configure the Pogo Plug directly. A second system is not required.
