This has the same ARM 1.2 Ghz processor, 3 USB ports, Gb Ethernet but 125/256M memory. It now apparently comes with free lifetime Pogoplug service. Works with any USB HDD.

No guarantee that these devices will continue to have free PogoPlug access as best I recall.

But..... this device can be hacked to run freeswitch, plugPBX, or maybe another version of asterisk, linux, etc. It's ARM based, so a traditional PIAF install won't be possible (neither will the g729 codec), but would probably make a fun & cheap hobby for some.

Why can you never find things this good value in the uk? Great find pogo plug is the way forward, have you seen you can freepbx on the device there based on ?? Search for plugpbx would love to get pbx in a flash on one of those

When Dockstar was first launched, the purchase included a one year subscription. Seagate and Pogoplug recently revised our agreement and purchase of a Dockstar now includes a lifetime subscription to Pogoplug Service.
