Point Extension to IVR

What would the dial settings be in a custom extension for me to have it point to an ivr.

Just use Setup -> Misc Applications. That's the easiest way.

I cant, because I am trying to make it that it is accessible from a vxlocator.

And the only options are to point 0,1, or 2 to an extension.

I want to make it that someone can press 1 to go back to the menu once they reach the voice mail

I tested it and assigned a number to misc applications that point to the IVR and put that value in the VMX option 1 and it worked.

Misc Destinations and Misc Applications are exactly that - things that are not otherwise exposed to the dialplan become exposed as call termination points from either internal or external calls. If you ever want to know "can I make XXX be a place to send a call to in some weird circumstance," the answer is always "start with Misc Destinations and/or Misc Applications."
