Polycom 501 - How to set up as remote extension?

I read some posts from '06 and '07 that Polycoms did not support STUN.


With the updates since then, is there any easy way to set up a 501 to work behind a NAT?

I've set up many versions (in the hundreds) of Polycom SIP phones- from the IP 300 to the IP650 and 4000. Nearly all were behind various NAT environments, and not on the same LAN as the PBX. With the proper programming, they work.

They work just fine behind NAT. Not working well behind NAT is OLD information.

Thats true. I just pointed it to the right address and it worked perfectly. No NAT settings necessary.
