let me start by apologizing in advance sorry for the noob questions...I am just really short on time and hope that I can get answers to a couple questions quickly.

I am leaving the country next week and travelling through Asia for an extended period of time, and I want to set up Incredible PBX for Asterisk 1.8 before I go. I will be going to buy a cheap little pc tomorrow and want to place orders for some phones today. The question I have is, if I buy a couple phones, like the Nortel SIP Videophones, what do I need to do once I get to my destination (or before I leave) so that the phones I take with me are extensions configured to my box at home?

I basically want to be able to place/receive domestic US calls from overseas using my pbx from home which will be set up using my google voice account. My IPs will undoubtedly change as I travel.

Any other suggestions/tips for a setup like this?

Sounds like the traveling man plug in (search the forums) plus pre-configuring the phones with your public IP or dynamic dns domain name is all you'll need to do. I'd test it from a friends house before you go.
