I have a green box (yes sorry I know). Anyways it has been having random hangups, 3 today, 8 last week. I noticed this in the log today.

Code:
[Apr 3 09:27:28] DEBUG[20155] chan_zap.c: Ignoring Polarity switch to IDLE on channel 7, state 6
[Apr 3 09:27:28] DEBUG[20155] chan_zap.c: Polarity Reversal event occured - DEBUG 2: channel 7, state 6, pol= 0, aonp= 0, honp= 0, pdelay= 600, tv= 1814667175
[Apr 3 09:27:28] VERBOSE[20155] logger.c: -- Hungup 'Zap/7-1'
However, at the same time the call on Zap/5-1 hungup. I do not have hangup on polarity set. I have only seen this entry a couple of times always followed by someone loosing a call. Can anyone elaborate on this log entry. Would it cause channels to hangup? Could it be a spike? Should I be protecting my lines somehow ?

Asterisk 1.4.21.2, Zaptel 1.4.11-1, Sangoma A200D with wanpipe 2.6.18.53.

I have to say, I do periodically have random hangups on other systems as well. With similar hardware and software versions. Is there somthing I should be looking at?

Is it different channels, or always the same one?

Joe

Rob, you may want to update your Sangoma drivers. They are at 3.3.something or 3.5.something now. Don't know if that will resolve the problem, but it won't hurt.
