Hi folks,

My excitement has turned to frustration because I can't seem to figure out what user name and PW the following message refers to when trying to initially access the settings at my PBXinaFlash installation. :banghead:

"The server 10.0.0.4:80 at Restricted Area requires a user name and password."

It rejects my root:PW combo set up during install, and it doesn't appear to be (and rejects) my router User:PW combo. (Fortunately I figured out from this forum why it would appear that I couldn't even access the PBX install after a few unsuccessful tries and have had to restart iptables and fail2ban a few times now.)

What other name:PW combo could it want? Please advise or point me in a good direction if someone would be so kind.

Thanks much!

Mike

If you're running Asterisk 1.4, run passwd-master and you can set all your passwords there - just follow the prompts. passwd-master16 for Asterisk 1.6.

To add a bit more to the answer, you're probably looking for the "passwd-maint" command and the "maint" user to access the web GUI for FreePBX.
