Just thought I would share my experience with conferencing on the Raspberry Pi. I overclocked the RP to the full meg. Of course using ulaw. I set up the conference to mute all incoming callers thinking that it might reduce bandwidth if it was only one-way. It was only intended for callers to listen anyway and not to participate. Nine callers and everything was going well for about 20 minutes. 10th caller the audio became erratic and unintelligible. Though I need capacity for 12 - 14 callers my little RP sadly just won't cut it. It was fun trying though. I may have to go with a dual core atom box.
