It really is interesting how good PBXiaF is compared to any other distro out there. I visit other forums and am astonished that there are still so many lemmings that have failed to read the writing on the wall.

As soon as 1.4.17 was announced I was able to run update-source and viola my box(es) had it.

Too sweet. No borked RPM's

Seriously, thanks very much for all the work that everyone is doing for PIAF. I install these for customers and prior to PIAF I was installing Trixbox. But I dropped TB immediately after seeing what Ward, Tom, Joe and others are doing.

My peeps send me

little snippets of what goes on over at the other sites. I am constantly amazed at what occurs from flaming to worshiping at the altar "on those other sites". Not sure why people send me the snippets but they are amusing and sad at the same time. I can't believe the flaming Phillipe got on one of those other boards about the training he was offering. Disgusting!

Even more amusing is the response from an "employee" of a well known VOIP company gave about Ward's latest column. I suppose the fact that they seem to feel threatened by all of the other Asterisk variants tells us a little of their insecurity. Still it is good for a belly laugh.

Me I am looking forward to the drive up from Florida to see Ward and Phillipe and all of the rest of the attendees. Then on the weekend it is scuba dive time if anyone is interested!

I just want to give you guys another big thank you again today after seeing the mess being caused "over there" with updates.

I just updated my PBXiaF systems yesterday (source & scripts) and everything is humming along.
