Recommended Install for Incoming Fax to Email

Hi, I am close to finishing configuring incrediblepbx with the following versions

PBX in a Flash Version   = 1.7.5.5                     
FreePBX Version          = 2.8.0.4                     
Running Asterisk Version = Asterisk 1.8.0              
Asterisk Source Version  = 1.8.0                       
Dahdi Source Version     = 2.4.0+2.4.0                 
Libpri Source Version    = 1.4.11.5                    
IP Address               = 192.168.2.98 on eth0        
Operating System         = CentOS release 5.5 (Final)  
Kernel Version           = 2.6.18-194.17.4.el5 - 32 Bit

What is thePiaF recommended way to get incoming fax detection on a dahdi card (rhino) and forwarding to email? where should i start? on the freepbx site I see references to a module called "res_fax_digium.so" but i don't have that installed by default, I have "res_fax_spandsp.so".
any hints? which version? which install procedure is the PiaF favorite?

Anybody? Ive been reading all I could find. Ward says fax is installed automatically with incrediblepbx (which is what I just installed), but i cant figure out what else needs to be configured. I just want INCOMING fax detection (line is shared voice and fax), and have it sent to 1 email address. The incoming lines are all Dahdi FXO.
I also read that by just downloading 2 modules from digium i can get the same effect, but I trust the default install Ward provides, since it hasnt failed me yet on another install i made 2 years ago.
Any tips?

i've looked all over and can't really see a consensus on this topic. I tried Ward's solution, but it didnt work here. At least from how I understood it should be done. Any links to a step by step for incoming fax on dahdi cards? (with emailing to 1 address afterwards).

Ward's fax method isn't working in Purple 1.8 IIRC. You can use AvantFax/HylaFax and route your inbound route from the DAHDI card to the Hylafax destination. All this is in the thread here.
