For business purposes, I record all my calls (legal in my location).

I use a Yealink T46g phone and programmed a 'Forward' button which sends calls to my cell phone. It works correctly.

However, I just noticed that my call monitor directory doesn't record these calls - they show up with minutes in my Flowroute account, but they 'exit' my PBX.

Is there a way, since I'm still paying for the call, to forward to the cell (which is not an extension) while retaining the call monitor function?

I unfortunately had a call today which could result in a "he said/she said" and I don't have backup for my 'he said' if it ever becomes an issue.

Create a ring group and make the only member your cell phone number. Put a "#" at the end of the cell number, like: 5552345678#, in whatever dial format is used to reach the number if you dialed it from your desk phone.

On the ring group, set call recording for "Force".

Then you can transfer the call to the extension created for that ring group. The call will go to the cell phone and the call will still be recorded.

Kenn10 - Bingo!

Thanks. On my system 'Force' is 'Always'. Worked like a charm.
