Removing Status Display at SSH login

Hello,

The subject may look harsh but in all honesty the STATUS pages makes me wait at least 3 - 5 seconds on a very good server and a very good internet connection until it goes away and gives me shell access. This becomes annoying when one has to SSH into 10s of server a few times each per day repeatedly.

I think the status command is fine and sometimes useful but the lengthy wait is really not cool.

What do you think? Anyway to fix it?

and also don't forget to:

rm /etc/motd

edit .bash_profile, comment out the command 'status -p'
