I had the darnedest time getting IP phones (extensions) to configure for my RentPBX/Incredible 3 installation.
The problem was: the phones were showing up as "online" but unable to receive incoming calls (went directly to voice mail) and unable to receive incoming audio.
I have Polycom IP500 and IP501 phones in 3 locations, plus an occasional instance of CSIPSIMPLE and/or SIPDroid running behind firewalls.
Here are the configurations that got the IP Phones working:
I hope this is useful for persons moving from physical to RentPBX and possible running Polycom Phones. Truly, I think setting nat:yes made the difference, but the Polycom default Transport is DNSnaptr, while on my Incredible3 install the dafault transport was UDP only.
