I was having internet/network issues, so I had to reset my mode/router. Now, I checked in one pbiaf and none of the trunks are registering. I have restarted the asterisk box a few times, to no avail.

Is there a way for me to see why the trunks are not registering?
I have Gizmo, Sipgate, voicepulse, as well as a premium provider's trunks configures, but none of them are registering.

Thanks

Do you remember ever setting externip for your system, probably in sip_custom.conf?

Your router could have picked up a new IP address and your Asterisk box may be telling your providers the wrong one.

I checked, but I do not have any settings set there.

I had used the orgasmatron installer.
I found the log and I see:
[2009-07-24 02:18:47] NOTICE[3277] chan_sip.c: -- Registration for '*****@sipgate.com' timed out, trying again (Attempt #9)

But when I try to ping that hostname from a different computer on the network, it gets a reply.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

A stab in the dark, but I have had this internet connectivity problem when I used netconfig with incorrect information for fixed ip address on lan.

Try setting your pbx to use dhcp. If that works, then you can go from there.

I set it to dhcp, and it still doesnt work.

I am almost at the stage of backing things up and doing a reisntall.

You could switch on SIP debugging and see if the SIP messages give you a clue -

asterisk -rv
sip set debug

It can be difficult to read as it generates a lot of info but you might be able to see why they are not registering.

And when you're done -

sip set debug off
