I just install a new Rhino R4fxo analog card. The audio levels sound find, but I was wondering if I should test/adjust the rxgain/txgain anyway.

Are the audio levels typically off, or fairly close to being correct?

The old adage applies here--If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have a rhino 8fxo card with the latest drivers from a couple months ago.
Increasing the tx gain even to 2 (from 0) caused clipping of the signal which interfered with the received signal.
Voice was still ok, but our pbx did not easily recognize dtmf tones when callers were navigating our IVR.
Running fxotune is recommended during installation, but but since your system works, I wouldn't bother.
