I need to route calls from my PIAF to a SIP address and I am drawing a blank. I'm trying to route to 123456@ipaddress ... 123456 is set up as an inbound route in the receiving system. I tried setting up as a misc dest but it won't let me save it. I also tried creating an outbound route with 123456 and sending it to a trunk with host set to the receiving IP address; didn't work. help.

try a custom trunk then something like this in the dial string

sip/$OUTNUM$@ip_address

Hi

Create a new extension of type Other (custom). Fill in the extension that you want to dial to get to this destination, the Display, and optionally, the Outbound CallerID.

In the dial field put
Code:
sip/123456@ipaddress

Save and test.

Note that at the other end, you will have to allow unauthenticated SIP calls, or create a trunk.
