Hi guys
I'm wondering if there is someone that could try and help me as I have run out of things to do. I have a server running at a client that works fine for anywhere between an hour and a day until Asterisk exits and automatically restarts. I thought it might be the server but I put in a different server with a fresh installation of PIAF and I'm still getting it.
This is the status dump:
PIAF Installed Version = 2.0.6.4 under *HARDWARE*
x FreePBX Version = 2.11.0.11
x Running Asterisk Version = 11.6.0
x Asterisk Source Version = 11.6.0
x Dahdi Source Version = 2.7.0.1
x Libpri Source Version = 1.4.14
x IP Address 192.168.9.8 = on eth0
x Operating System = CentOS release 6.4 (Final)
x Kernel Version = 2.6.32-358.23.2.el6.x86_64 - 64 Bit
I'm running HP G4 and G5 servers and its only at this customer that I get these errors. I have tried the following:
Updated server firmware for RAID, motherboard and BIOS
Swopped servers
Used 32 and 64 bit PIAF - both from clean installs
Tried Asterisk 11.5 and 11.6
Enabled and disabled call recordings
the customer has 80 staff and does up to 45 concurrent calls. The segmentation fault happens at any time and sometimes won't occur for days but like today it happened twice in an hour cutting 40 calls....
From the research that I did I see segmentation faults could be caused by:
Bad audio files
Incompatible modules
I tried looking for incompatible modules but this is a fresh PIAf install so surely they must all be compatible?
Then lastly I don't have any bad audio files.
Please let me know if you can help with this. Really need the assistance
