Send "#" key to outside systems

I have tried looking but not sure how send # to end voice mail on others systems. when hit # my system says transfer:?

Using older piaf and freepbx. feature code or out bound dialing setting?

When you say older.. How old? Dirt still in Beta Test old, or just the age of Methusela?

Anyways look at your feature codes and you will see something similar to In-call codes (transfer to voicemail , I believe is *2+Ext of course]. Maybe change your system transfer code to ## (just make sure you tell everyone the code changed -- unless you don't use transfer in this way, then it doesn't matter) submit and apply changes and hitting pound once won't trigger a transfer - twice in succession will.
