Hello!
I have Incredible PBX with 2 google voice accounts set up. I registered the eyeBeam IP phone with Extension 701. I called out a PSTN number and then from a magicjack I called the google voice number associated with the 701 extension; after about 4-5 rings, I received an incoming call on line 2 of the eyebeam and I picked it up, then I put both the calls in conference and it worked! which means each google voice number can process multiple channels? and that too through the chat interface!!
I also registered two IP phones on extn 701 with the same credentials.. and both logged in. Using each I established two outbound PSTN calls using just one single Google voice trunk! that too worked!
Could someone point me to some basic info on how multi-channel on SIP works? I had understood that you need to have different SIP accounts on different lines and then bridge them into conference..but this experiment means each asterisk SIP account is multi channel..How many channels can it process at one time?
Could someone point me to a basic doc on the workings of SIP please.
Many thanks!
