Hello all,
I have a Nortel 1140e SIP Phone that used to work with Asterisk, and I am able to receive internal incoming calls on the phone, and I am able to reach the phone by using ring groups internally. When I try to reach the phone on an external trunk (that is supposed to ring the ring group), it only rings the UniSTIM phone on that ring group (a Nortel i2007). Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Do you have NAT=yes for the Nortel extension? Can you dial the Nortel phone from an external trunk?

I do have NAT enabled on the extension. I changed my DID to only ring the Nortel SIP extension, and the phone rings to voicemail, so I am not able to reach the phone on the trunk at all, only internally.

It is either your inbound route for external trunk or your ring group config. Post a sanitized screen shot of your inbound route for the external trunk. And your ring group. Probably something overlooked - remember can't see your own mistakes until someone else looks at them.
