Is there a way to assign a sip uri to a ring group?

Thank you,

extensions_override_freepbx

in extensions_override_freepbx.conf (in /etc/asterisk:

callmypbx,1,Dial(from-internal,601,1)

this will have the sip uri callmypbx@fqdn or callmypbx@myipaddress call ring group 601.

Oops, typing too fast. Goes in [from-sip-external]

[from-sip-external]

exten => callmypbx,1,Dial(from-internal,601,1)

callmypbx@myipOrDnsName then calls ring group 601.

Code:
[from-sip-external]

exten => callmypbx,1,Dial(from-internal,601,1)
Thank you. I ended up having to use Goto instead of Dial.
