Hi Everyone,

In order to match all the people who use skype and not have to use a skype client, i have brought a gizmo5 trunk (very cheap so ithought what the hell)

now when i dial 1011 from asterisk it calls one of my skype id's this works very well.

well i have been talking to Ed Donahue, software lead at OpenSky and it is possible im told to recieve incoming skype calls through the gizmo5 trunk this is done as follows.
a. Login to my.gizmo5.com, and then enter in your Skype credentials for your Skype account that you want to receive calls by. You'll see this under the section "OpenSky." We will login to Skype on your behalf.

b. After enabling OpenSky forwarding, you can setup your Gizmo5 account to forward all of your calls to your asterisk user. You'll see this under the section "Call Forwarding". Forward to your asterisk SIP address. In the most simplest form, it would be: [email protected], where the host is your asterisk machine and the extension is the desired default asterisk extension. At this point, you can use asterisk magic to do what you want with the call.

this is all been done and my skype user name seems to be logged in but when i try to call from another skype account it rings twice then i get a busy tone has anyone seem this before.
I have this trunk pointed at the ivr so it should go throu as any other call does, any idea's guys i have already mailed gizmo5 for support on this and await the reply.

Kind Regards

Col
