I recently installed PBXIAF / IPBX on a Centos 6.5 machine and enabled SMS Dictator by using the script in the smsdictator directory. I had to go to extensions_custom.conf to add the music on hold extensions and noticed that there were two entries for SMS dictator in there and the new one from the script did not include the ability to send an SMS by speaking a name listed in Asteridex. I deleted the SMS dictator section (the newer one) and enabled the old style so that I could also speak the name. SMS Dictator still appears to work normally and I am able to speak the name of the person I want to text to as well as enter the phone number.
So my question is, was my experience an anomaly or has the text by name function been phased out or is incompatible with another version's (i.e. Ubuntu, RASPBX) installer? I know there has been alot of changes in the scripts recently so someone in the know might want to check this out.
