RECOMMENDATIONS SMS / MMS enabled Carrier for the UK

Good Morning all,

We use Didforsale and Signalwire for our SMS enabled DIDs in North America.

But I have a request to enable some UK DIDs with our application. Does anyone have a carrier recommendation ??

You can get UK DIDs from Nexmo which is a EU based subsidiary of Vonage. Most of those DIDs are SMS enabled and fairly affordable. Nexmo does its billing in Euros. If you prefer working in US dollars you can get the same DIDs from TelecomsXchange which dips into the Nexmo DID database and serves the North American market from local POPs. Quality-wise it makes a slight difference for the better.

Alternatively, you can get UK DIDs from Localphone, which is a UK based vendor well known and well established in the USA. But their DIDs are relatively costly to operate and their SMS service, although very good is also very expensive. It might not make much difference on occasional use or low volume, but it becomes quite expensive otherwise.
