BUG SPA303s not showing message waiting when there are

I've got about 20 phones running on Asterisk 13.13.1 via Incredible GUI 12.09.39.

All of the extensions are set to email voicemail then delete. 1 user (The Main Manager) wants emailed voicemails and for his phone to show him when he has new messages. The phone functions correctly and he can log in to his vm listen, delete, etc.

The only problem is the MWI does not light when he has messages. If I go in to the phone settings and turn on the MWI the light always stays one.

Any suggestions?

Enable SIP debug on Asterisk, just for that phone, then leave a voicemail for it. See if you can spot a NOTIFY being sent to the phone.

I am assuming you have this particular extension set to not delete messages when they are e-mailed.

Do you have pollmailboxes = yes in the phones admin gui?
