Stuck on avantfax screen

I seem to be stuck on the avantfax login screen with the message that my maint user does not exist. I have tried to resolve this through webmin, by changing my password for both the maint user and several other users. The system is working without problems (sending and receiving faxes).
Any idea how to login past this screen (attached screen shot)
