T-Mobile@Home/SPA-3102POTS/PIAF Line/Won't Release Line After enter Voicemail system
I setup my PIAF system with a SPA3102 interface. I have an analog phone attached to my “Phone” port and a T-Mobile@home (VOIP) Router plugged into the “Line” (POTS) port. However, there is an that is causing some problems with the POTS setup and I think the issue are a result of some gaps in my understanding of PIAF :
The problem I have with the T-mobile incoming route is the fact that if the call goes to the voicemail box and the person abruptly ends the call, the line is kept open and I have to physically unplug the phone cord from the “Phone” port of the SPA3102 in order to release the line. If the person leaves a message and then presses the “#” key and accepts the voicemail message, the call is terminated gracefully. There seem to be a reoccuring/repeating loop within PIAF VM. What should I check to have a resoltion of this problem.
Please let me know what other info is needed to help resolve these problem.
