I have a Digium TDM card with 2 FXO ports and 1 FXS port. The FSX port is plugged into a jack that feeds the house. There are two cordless phones and a fax machine on it.
1. Is that too many phones for the poor little card? Since they are electronic ringers instead of the old fashion ringers I am hoping it is OK?
2. When I try to fax out the built-in piaf/avantfax answers and crashes Asterisk all together. Bang, down hard.
3. What settings in FreePBX should I have on that extension so the fax will work?
Note: I only want this for outbound faxes. I still want AvantFax to receive faxes and email them to me as it has been.
