Three way calls drop one party

I have a Bronze installation utilizing a TDM410 card, two POTS lines provided through Verizon FIOS and then a SIP trunk from VoicePulse.

Phones are Aastra 6751i, and we are using the Aastra XML Scripts to provision.

Users have been complaining that when doing conference calls on the phone (e.g, not using MeetMe), they have no problems setting up a third party, but after several minutes the third party is disconnected. The first two parties are still on, and they can re-establish the call, but the same problem will occur.

Looking at the CDR, I can see that the two outside calls are being handled by the POTS lines, not the SIP trunk.

Question is, how to track this down, and has anyone seen this behavior? Since the call setup is handled by the Aastra, I'm wondering if the issue is being caused by this, or is the TDM card disconnecting.

My thoughts for short term troubleshooting is to change the outbound call priority to use the SIP trunk for the second call (vs. the second POTS line). At least this will tell me if the system is dropping the call, vs something related to the POTS line.

My other thought is to have the customer use MeetMe, with both POTS lines, and see if something drops

Suggestions?

Otherwise the system works fine
